Troubleshooting

What to do when Midjourney doesn't understand you:

  • Search for a similar picture online and use the prompte "/describe". See what words you can use to rewrite a better prompt. Change the length of your prompt (make it longer or shorter).
  • Use the parameter "--style raw" (less automatic beautification and closer to your prompt).
  • Use low parameters between 10 and 25 of
    • chaos
    • weird
  • Draw a quick sketch of your scene in Photoshop, Canva oder any other tool. Upload your photo and draw it to your prompt (end position). Additionally use the image parameter image weight "--iw" at the end.
  • Add an image  reference
  • Blend two pictures and work with image weight (--iw)
  • Lower the default parameter "--stylize" (to stay closer to your prompt; default: 100) to 90-250
  • Change the ratio of the image (square, 16:9, ...)
  • Include the parameter "--sref" to follow the style of a given picture. Then drag your image into the prompt box and hit enter. To increase it, you could use the parameter "--sw 1000" (style wight) to stick it even closer to your predefined style.
